Had an interesting PortalFeeder forum post recently in which a member was a little confused about exactly what direction he was traveling in with his business. In effect, it was both an endorsement and a complaint of the PortalFeeder membership.

Basically, with the recent release of the new version of PPC Kahuna and the learning process required he wondered how the heck he was supposed to focus with PortalFeeder continually producing goodies like this for it’s members.  Both a a “slap in the face” and hug. We’ll take that as a compliment!

The truth is, there is a lot of training material and tools within the PortalFeeder membership. PortalFeeder has been going strong since December of 2005 and in that time has had to adapt more than once to the changing environment of internet marketing. As you know, things change quickly, what’s new becomes old very fast and in the past twelve months we’ve seen the emergence of more sophisticated automation tools which take out a lot of the grunt work in promotions.

The reality is, when we release tools and training material at PortalFeeder it doesn’t mean you need to drop everything and start using them.

I’m taking a leaf out of the 5 Buck Guy Dennis Becker’s book, 5 Bucks A Day about focusing on one task at a time until it’s producing for you. We preach this at PortalFeeder so if a powerful tool like PPC Kahuna is not part of your promotional strategies then don’t use it. Wait until you’ve finished your current project and in time, get around to taking a look at PPC Kahuna.

We’ll talk more about the issue of focus in the coming weeks and the evolving process that is part of a committed internet marketer’s life.
